Dear All Enginer,

 

Following on from the success of the SPE Certification Exam and Short course in Abu Dhabi in 2006 and 2007,

the SPE is hoping to organise this highly sought after qualification in different locations in the Middle East Region.

At a recent meeting of the SPE Middle East Region Council Members in Dubai, the following locations have been

proposed for Exam centres:

Tripoli, Libya

Tehran, Iran

Muscat, Oman

 

SPE sections in all of these locations would support the exam and short course by advertising and promoting the

event to their section members in order to allow a high turn out of professionals to take the short course and sit the exam.

 

In Oman, interest for both the short course and exam is quite high amongst members of the Association of Indonesian

Petroleum Engineers Muscat (IATMI_Oman).  Your name has been provided to me as a member of the IATMI in Oman who

may be interested in sitting the SPE Certification Short Course and Exam in 2008.

 

The plan is quite simple:  Due to the request of the IATMI members in Muscat willing to sit for the exam, the SPE is considering

holding a Short Course in January 2008 and then follow up with an Exam in May 2008. However, this requires an accurate  

number of IATMI members willing to sit both the Exam and short course being known so that the SPE office in Dubai can make

arrangements. 

Therefore, if you are serious about sitting both the exam and/or Short Course please let me know by replying to this email by the

Wednesday 19th December. This will allow the SPE Regional Office in Dubai to start the ball rolling in terms of the Short Course  

Date in Muscat and registration etc.

              We are pleased to inform you that IATMI Komda Cirebon will hold a workshop on 23th - 25th January, 2008, at Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The theme of the workshop is “Innovative Solution In CO2 Nowadays”.
On behalf of Program Committee, we initiate this invitation for your attending in  the workshop and participating as a speaker. This event would be held in some main agendas: Master Class in first day, Technical Session I in second day, and Technical Session II in third day.
